NSW: Opposition claims mandate for power sale
SYDNEY, Feb 28 AAP - New South Wales Opposition Leader Kerry Chikarovski today said she
would have a mandate to sell the state's $25 billion electricity industry if elected on March
27.
Mrs Chikarovski will face a volatile upper house with a balance of power held by
independents if she wins the election and is likely to have difficulty implementing the sell
off.
"When we are elected on March 27 the people of this state will have made a judgment about
the electricity reform package," she said.
