Since indoor air quality (IAQ) first emerged as an important issue some 20 years ago, SBS (Sick Building Syndrome) and BRI (Building-Related Illness) incidents have become more rather than less commonplace. The problem is that very small biological particles, including mold and bacteria, can reproduce in a facility's cooling coil plenum and drain pan, just downstream of the filter bank.
